It's so hard to believe it's already been a year since I said good bye to my sweet Tom. Not a day goes by that I don't think of this boy. A friend of mine made this box to put his ashes in. It is pyrography (aka woodburning) and I thought she captured him perfectly.
That box is beautiful, and so perfect for him! I can't believe it's been a year already. I hope that you have a lot of great memories of him to hold on to today!

tom is still loved, and it sure shows in the post. Your friend did a great job with the box and the picture on it. I am amazed by that talent. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!
ReplyDeleteWhat an amazing box. The time after you say goodbye goes so quickly and somehow it always feels like it happened just yesterday. Three and a half years later and I still think of GG every day and miss her like crazy. Here's hoping that Tom comes back for a visit and leaves you a sign. I'm sure he's been there all along but it takes so long for us to know it.
