I am so sorry. The last pet's death I dealt with was my cat, Monster. Well, he was a neighborhood cat - but he'd visited us daily for at least 10 years!
Even months afterward, I caught myself glancing out the front door or peering underneath the landscape bushes - only to suddenly realize that I really wouldn't see him. So, you're not alone!
A few weeks ago I called one of my cats "Ashley" which is the name of my cat that passed away 4yrs ago. I haven't done that in a long time, but I do still think about her often. If only they could stay with us forever.
3 years later and I still catch myself someitmes call Alex's name to go outside with the rest of the dogs. Paw Prayers for you and your family. I know how much you miss her.

Hugs :-)
I'm sorry! I had a lot of those days after Treat was gone, too. Just little things that I'd turn around and wonder about could strike a nerve.
